John retired in 2004 from a career that concluded with 31 years in sales and marketing at Ford Motor Company. Since then, he has run a small consulting business and is active in numerous local nonprofits including Ruth’s House, Open Door Community Center, and Beaufort County Community College Foundation. John also serves his community as a Beaufort County Commissioner and was elected to his second term in the 2020 election cycle. John’s business, nonprofit, and public service expertise has been an incredible gift to the Board.
