Taylor Norton graduated from Campbell University School. Taylor has a strong commitment to advocacy, evidenced by her involvement in civil litigation and public service throughout law school. She served as a Staff Writer for the Campbell Law Observer and as a member of the Campbell Law Trial Advocacy Team, achieving recognition as a Quarter-Finalist in the Stetson Pretrial Competition and a Semi-Finalist in the American Association for Justice Student Trial Advocacy Competition. Her dedication to legal excellence was also honored through the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship and the 2024 Robert A. Jenkins Advocacy Scholarship.
Taylor’s legal experience spans multiple impactful roles, including a clerkship with Legal Services of North Florida, where she assisted indigent clients in landlord-tenant disputes and federal disaster relief applications. She also supported the Wake County Attorney’s Office as a Legal Assistant, contributing to civil litigation and legislative drafting. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Ethics from North Carolina State University, where she was an active leader in the Model United Nations team and awarded a scholarship from the North Carolina Legislative Internship Program. Taylor brings her passion for advocacy and public service to her role, committed to making a difference through accessible, client-centered legal services.
